Bridgestone is the world’s largest manufacturer of tyres and other rubber products. The company, established in Japan in 1931, along with its subsidiaries, employ over 140 000 people around the world, operate 178 plants in 25 nations and sell products in more than 150 countries. One in five vehicles in the world drives on the company’s tyres.

Bridgestone is also a recognized manufacturer of sport and recreational products, such as bicycles and golf equipment.

In Poland, Bridgestone owns a sales company, a financial center and four modern factories, that employ a total of 2800 people. The value of investment of this Japanese consortium in our country, exceeded 2,3 mld zł, which makes it one of the biggest foreign investors in Poland.
